The Hampton Roads Jr. Whalers are proud to announce our tryout camp for the 2020-2021 Jr. Whalers USPHL Elite & Premier Jr. Hockey teams will be held May 1st-3rd, 2020 to be held at the Chilled Ponds Ice Sports Complex in Chesapeake, VA.

All prospective players birth years 2000-2004 are invited to attend the camp. The organization continues to be a dominate powerhouse in the junior hockey with 8 Championships in our 14 seasons all while advancing over 175 players into NCAA and ACHA programs, along with 5 USHL Alumni, 19 NAHL Alumni, 8 players represented their country on the national stage, and 16 pro Alumni.

CAMP FORMAT

Friday, May 1, 2020
3:30pm- Camp Check-In (Team Assignments and Camp Jersey’s will be handed out)
5pm- Group 1 On-Ice Practice Session
6:30pm- Group 2 On-Ice Practice Session

Saturday, May 2, 2020
10:30am- Program Introduction (All Players/Parents) (Coaches, Facilities, Programming, Bon Secours)
Noon- GAME
Noon- Group 1 Off-Ice Testing
1:30pm- GAME
1:45pm- Group 2 Off-ice Testing
3pm- GOALIE SESSION
4:30pm- GAME

Sunday, May 3, 2020
9am- All-Star GAME
11:30am- Player Exit Meetings
